ASW's annual food drive is in full swing. Associates in our Akron-area facilities are donating canned food and other non-perishables that will be collected and taken to the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank on Monday. Associates in our Geneva facility will be sending donations to support community members in Ashtabula County.
Lizz Carpinelli, HR Specialist, who is managing the associate-led initiative, said, “Giving back is part of who we are at ASW and our associates are the heart of the company. This food drive gives them the wonderful opportunity to come together to help families in need across our community.”
This year's drive ends on Friday. Collection bins are located in each site. Those associates who would rather donate money are being asked to send monetary donations directly to the food bank in their respective regions.
