We recently gathered for lunch to celebrate Carlos Stevens on his retirement. Carlos devoted 39 years to ASW! A Marine Corps vet, he began his work at ASW as a Forklift Operator and worked his way up to increasing levels of responsibility through his career, retiring as President, GM of ASW Supply Chain Services.
ASW CEO Andre Thornton thanked Carlos for his contributions and presented him with a plaque and gift.
Carlos took time to address the assembled associates, talking briefly about his journey and then reflecting about ASW. "I can tell you that ASW's been a great company to work for and I think there are a lot more great things to come. It's always been a strong company, and it's always been like family to me. Anything's possible here for anybody. I'm very grateful for the opportunity that I've had over the last 39 years. Again, it's been a great company to work for [with] great people. I appreciate every one of you for what you've done. Keep moving forward and stay strong. The company's going to continue to prosper."
