
Business challenge:
A major financial services client needed a partner to manage a consumer fulfillment program that involved both a high-end, portable multimedia product and print collateral. The client wanted to mail out a premium tech gift, along with its own marketing print material and thank you cards, as part of a promotion to thousands of select, targeted customers.
ASW’s solution:
ASW partnered with top retail brand to source over 10,000 units of the requested tech product and worked with a common carrier to ensure that the high-valued products were delivered securely to the residential customers.
Execution:
ASW purchased the product directly from the retail brand at wholesale pricing. Products were stored in a designated location in ASW's secure shared services facility in Northeast Ohio. Once the selected recipients went through a qualification process with the client, the client provided the encrypted files with the recipients' shipping information. ASW's fulfillment staff kitted the product with multiple pieces of the client's print collateral. The items were repackaged, labeled, and shipped to the recipients within three business days. Recipients included end customers, as well as branches throughout the country. ASW was also responsible for processing returns for packages that could not be delivered to either the primary (residence) or secondary address (branch).
